Polytechnic High Meets Kehinde Wiley

Thee Polytechnic High Field Trip

Polytechnic High 's Mrs. Gonzales Art 2 and AP Art had the opportunity to visit a special exhibit at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Kehinde Wiley "A New Republic".

The students had an eyeopening experience to view paintings about the world that we live in and the way this artist expresses his views on today's society and how it was influenced from the past.

They were also given an opportunity to work in the the Modern's studio and create their own collage which were later shared with each other to reflect on the exhibit and how they tried to recreate a meaning in their own art work.
